Funny faces at Seadrift

As part of The Highland Council Caithness Countryside Ranger summer activities sixteen children spent a morning at the Seadrift Visitor Centre in Dunnet Bay creating their very own masks using everyday household items.

Batman, butterflies, elephants a mermaid and many others were all carefully designed, cut out and painted by the children.

Countryside Ranger Paul Castle said: “It was great to see the children having fun enthusiastically painting, colouring and cutting out, not to mention the sterling efforts of many of the accompanying adults. Sometimes I’m not sure who has more fun with this kind of event, the kids or the adults.”

All the Ranger activities for the rest of the season can be found at or phone us on 01847 821531 for further details.
