Surviving in the wild Highlands

This week the Highland Council Countryside Rangers are offering courses on how to survive in the wild in the Highlands.

Join the Rangers on Wednesday 30 July at Abriachan from 2pm to 4pm and discover the science of survival skills. Learn about bows and arrows, tracking animals among other activities. Booking is essential for this event.

On Thursday 31 July have a go at den building at Feshiebridge in the Cairngorms. Book is not essential for this event, just turn up at 2pm at the Feshiebruach car park on the Auchlean road south of Feshiebridge (NH853043). 

Friday 1 August sees the Rangers at Reelig Glen from 2pm to 4pm teaching about survival skills; how to find food and water, staying warm and dry and other important outdoor skills. Booking is essential for this event.
