East Ross District Partnership to focus on services for children and young people

Items on the agenda will include looking at work placements for pupils and school leavers, discussing the Highland Parenting Framework and the role of Local Childcare Partnerships. Additional hours of pre-school learning for Highland children and an update on the Health Promotion projects will also be discussed. There will also be a presentation by Highland Hospice on their plans for a temporary move to Invergordon when their centre in Inverness is refurbished in 2015.

Councillor Martin Rattray who will chair the meeting said: “We’ve got a good full agenda for the meeting covering a wide range of topics. It’s important that Easter Ross residents are given the chance to have a say about the delivery of health and social care in their area and the District Partnership is a good way for them to engage with service providers. I hope we get a good turn-out for the meeting.”

The meeting starts at 9.30am and as always, there will be an opportunity for members of the public to raise issues and ask questions.

The agenda and notes of the last meeting are available on the Highland Council website.
