Public Forum to discuss B862 Loch Tarff Road Improvements

Residents of South Loch Ness and regular users of the route are invited to come along to the public session in Stratherrick Hall, Gorthleck on Wednesday 30 April between 4pm and 7pm so their travel patterns and business interests can be identified.  This will allow for a schedule of works to be drawn up for the improvements with the minimum of adverse effects to road users.

The previously planned road closures at Loch Tariff due to start on 21 April and at Sochick’s Bend on 28 April will not be going ahead at the present time.

Council officers and representatives from the contractor for the works, RJ McLeod are reviewing the design of the Loch Tarff project with a view to reducing disruption for travellers, and will be at the event in Stratherrick Hall on Wednesday 30 April to answer queries and collate travel pattern information from local people.

A similar drop-in-session to discuss road improvements at Sochick’s Bend will be held in Farr Hall in early May.
