Final consultation report - new 3-18 community campus, Tain.

The Highland Council has published a Final Consultation Report into its proposal to build a new 3-18 community campus in Tain, comprising early years, primary, secondary, ASN and Gaelic provision, and replacing all other local authority education provision within Tain, including the existing Tain Royal Academy and community complex.

The original consultation on the proposal ran from 1 September to 29 October 2014 and attracted a range of responses from parents, pupils, local residents and other organisations.

The Final Consultation Report is due to be submitted to the Education, Children and Adult Services Committee on 11 February 2015.

Between now and 10 February 2015, members of the public are invited to provide comments which will be tabled at the Education, Children and Adult Services Committee meeting. This will allow Elected Members to take into account any further representations in relation to the recommendations contained within the Consultation Report before agreeing a decision.

The Final Report and associated papers can be found on the Council’s website.

Paper copies are also available for inspection at Tain Royal Academy, Craighill Primary, Knockbreck Primary, St. Duthus Special School, and Tain Library.
