Rangers Beauly riverside walk

Highland Council’s Countryside Rangers are inviting people to join them on a riverside walk this Saturday 18th November.

From 11am to 3pm they will follow the river beyond mysterious ancient mounds and through  woodland in its autumnal finery.

Mairi Nicolson, Countryside Ranger for Inverness West said: “This is one of our favourite local walks.  On it you encounter many different habitats and wildlife, some archaeology and there are fine views of Beaufort Castle.”

This event is organised as part of The Highland Council’s Planning and Development Services countryside events programme.  This is suitable for individuals and family groups and is free to attend.  No booking is required and anyone wishing to come along should meet at the Kiltarlity Old Church, grid reference NH 497 439, at 11am.

The Highland Council Countryside Rangers are a partnership between The Highland Council and Scottish Natural Heritage with the aim of promoting public enjoyment and appreciation of the countryside and conserving wildlife.
