Show us what you love about the Highlands by entering the Scottish Mental Health Arts & Film Festival Highland Photography competition

The Scottish Mental Health Arts & Film Festival (SMHAFF) Highland is inviting entries to a photography competition with the theme of “Passion for the Highlands”.

We want to know what it is that makes you passionate about the area you live in. It could be the beautiful scenery or it might be the people that make your community great. It could be the local culture or sport, or it could be your family and friends. The theme gives you the scope to tell us what YOU are passionate about in Highland.

There are two categories: one for children (aged under 16 years) and one for adults (aged 16 and over). A panel of judges will choose a winner and a runner-up for each category. The competition is open to anyone living in the Highland Council area.

The runners-up and winners will be officially announced at the launch of the Scottish Mental Health Arts & Film Festival Highland on Thursday 1st October 2015. The photographs will be displayed in a free public exhibition at Eden Court in Inverness for two weeks in October.

Please email your entry to policy6@highland.gov.uk with the subject heading “SMHAFF Photography Competition”. The closing date for entries is Monday 31st August.
