Travel advice ahead of Thursday's ICT vs FC Astra Giurgiu football match

Police Scotland are seeking to remind members of the public of possible traffic disruption ahead of the Inverness Caledonian Thistle vs FC Astra Giurgiu at Caledonian Stadium, Inverness on Thursday July 16th 2015 with a 7.45pm kick-off.

Police Scotland is issuing travel advice to local road users ahead of the match which is anticipated to attract large numbers of people to the city.

Police would advise motorists to expect delays on the approaches to the A9 Kessock Bridge roundabout and in the vicinity of Longman road nearby to the stadium between 6.45pm and 8pm and then again between 9.30pm and 10pm. There is currently 3 way traffic control due to roadworks in the Longman area which may cause additional delays.

Those travelling to the game are advised to set off early and allow plenty of time for the journey. Motorists are also reminded to prepare for delays and be mindful that there will be pedestrians crossing roads on their way to the match as the grounds open at 6.45pm.
