Community Planning Partners set up a ‘market place’ to talk to the people of Lochaber about what is important to them.

The Lochaber Community Planning Partnership invites the public along to a ‘Community Planning Market Place’ to be held on Monday 16th November 2015 from 1pm – 2.30pm in the Council Chambers, High Street, Fort William.  

Members of the public will be able to meet the community planning partners who contribute to the work of the Lochaber District Health, Social Care and Community Planning Partnership as well as the Lochaber Economic Development and Employability Forum.  These forums drive forward the collective development of services and facilities for the Lochaber area.  

Between 1pm - 1.30pm the Lochaber Community Planning Partnership will hold its AGM to which the public are invited followed by an open drop in session which you can pop along to at any time between 1.30-2.30pm to have a chat with partnership members on the work of individual agencies or to pass your views on areas of development in Lochaber that matter the most to you.  

Agencies and organisations attending will include Highland Council, NHS Highland, Police Scotland, Scottish Canals, High Life Highland, Lochaber Housing Association, Forestry Commission Scotland, Voluntary Action Lochaber and the West Highland College UHI.  

The Lochaber Community Planning Partnership hopes you can join them to hear about the projects, initiatives and activity that is happening and planned for the Lochaber Area by its community planning partners as well as the priorities it is working collectively on for the area.
