Road condition and schools and Service Point closure reports by The Highland Council for the morning of Friday 13 November 2015 are as follows:

Caithness & North Sutherland: Slush on A836 near Loch Craggie. Several sleet showers. Treating route. Posted: 13/11/2015 09:07 Ice on A882 around Old Hall. Low temperatures elsewhere especially around Sout East Caithness but temperatures generally just above freezing. Treated A882 and other routes as precaution. Posted: 13/11/2015 08:38

Ross and Cromarty: Some low temps in the west area, routes checked with no problems found. No reports of any storm damage overnight. Posted: 13/11/2015 08:55

Lochaber: Staff responded to some disruption early evening with trees down on the A861 at Trelaig and on the B863 north side. Localised flooding at Lochybridge and Kingairloch Junction with the A861. Posted: 13/11/2015 08:31

Badenoch & Strathspey: Snow covering on upper ski road whish was gritted and precautionary gritting of high/cold sections on main roads in north of the area. Posted: 13/11/2015 08:22

Inverness, Nairn and Skye: no major issues reported on roads.
