Story Walk In The Woods

Join in with “National Tell a Story Day” by taking a walk through the woods and listening to a story inspired by nature, you might meet some interesting animals and perhaps a Gruffalo along the way.

This “Once upon a time” event takes place from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday 29 October in Kiltarlity woods.

Mairi Nicolson, Countryside ranger for Inverness West said: “Why stay indoors to tell stories when you can be in the great outdoors and perhaps meet some real characters along the way?.”

This event is organised as part of The Highland Council’s Planning and Development Services countryside events programme.  This is suitable for family groups and is free to attend.  No booking is required and anyone wishing to come along should meet up at the Kiltarlity Shinty Pitch at 2pm.

The Highland Council Countryside Rangers are a partnership between The Highland Council and Scottish Natural Heritage with the aim of promoting public enjoyment and appreciation of the countryside and conserving wildlife.
