Take a dip in Tain and Muir of Ord

The Highland Council Countryside Rangers continue with their summer holidays programme next week looking at beasties that live in the water. Why not come along to learn about fish, water scorpions, whirligigs and other acquatic creatures alongside the Ranger?

‘Pond Dipping at Tain Wildlife Pond’ takes on Tuesday 19th July from 2-4pm, and ‘Pond dipping at Lily Lochs, Muir of Ord’ takes place between 2 and 4pm on Friday 22nd of July. Both events require booking in advance and cost £3.50 per child (adults go free).

To book or for any information on these or any other of the many summer events The Highland Council Rangers are running over the summer, please telephone 01463 255291, or e-mail rangers.inverness@highland.gov.uk. Details of all events can also be found listed in a handy to use on-line calendar from www.outdoorhighlands.gov.uk.
