Duncan Forbes Primary School update

The Highland Council has confirmed that Duncan Forbes Primary in Inverness will not open to pupils tomorrow as expected. Parents and pupils are being advised that due to delays in completing roofing repairs and refurbishment work to the building during the holidays, the school will remain closed to pupils until Thursday.

Director Bill Alexander said: “It has only become apparent that the outstanding work to the school building is going to take longer to complete than we expected and planned for. We therefore have made the decision not to open the school tomorrow and at this time anticipate that the school will open to pupils on the morning of Thursday 18th.  Our sincere apologies go to all parents and pupils.”
