Burns Stramash

The City of Inverness Youth Pipe Band  were delighted to be a part of Eden Court CREATIVE and Event Scotland’s fifth annual Burns night event; the Big Burns Stramash last weekend.  

The band are pictured leading a lantern-lit procession along the River Ness to Eden Court where the celebration of all things Burns ended in true Scottish style.

City of inverness Youth Pipe Band is currently supported by Highland Council as an extension of its Instrumental Tuition Service, with additional support from parents as a registered charity.

The band gives members from around the Inverness area the opportunity to develop not only piping skills, but all the other life skills associated with structured and supported learning of musical instruments.
