Planning Review Body
Tasks and responsibilities
The Scottish Government’s modernisation agenda introduced the requirement that each planning authority establish a Review Body. The function of the Review Body is to determine requests by applicants to review local applications that have either:
- Been refused by officers of the planning authority
- Been approved by officers subject to conditions
- Not been determined by officers within two months of the date of submission
Further details of the terms of reference and the powers and duties delegated to the Committee are set out in the Council's Scheme of Delegation.
