Parking fines

Unpaid Penalty Charge Notices

If you have challlenged your parking ticket you will receive a letter informing you if you have been succesful, or still have to pay the fine.

If you do not agree with our decision you can appeal to the Parking and Bus Lane Tribunal Scotland. A parking adjudicator will make the final decision.

You will be sent a "Charge Certificate" if you haven't paid a parking ticket or made an appeal. This states that you have 14 days to pay your ticket and it has now increased to £90.

If you don't pay at this stage, the Council will instruct sheriff officers to recover the charge. This also means that you can no longer submit an appeal to the adjudicator.
