Proposal to Relocate Thurso High School, Pennyland Primary School and Miller Academy Primary School
We are seeking the views of local communities on a proposal to relocate Thurso High School, Pennyland Primary School and Miller Academy Primary School.
There will be a public meeting on Thursday 27 August 2026 at Thurso High School at 7pm.
There will also be a drop-in session at Thurso High School from 2pm to 5pm on Thursday 27 August to look at site proposals.
Proposal to Relocate Plockton Primary School
We are seeking the views of local communities on a proposal to relocate Plockton Primary School.
There will be a public meeting on Wednesday 26 August 2026 at Plockton High School at 7pm.

Proposal to Relocate Beauly Primary School
The Consultation Report for the Beauly Primary School statutory consultation is now available.
This report sets out a summary of all representations received during the consultation period, the main issues raised by consultees, and the Council’s response to these. It also includes the report from Education Scotland on the educational aspects of the proposal.
The report has been prepared in accordance with the Schools (Consultation) (Scotland) Act 2010 and will be considered by Education Committee on 3 June 2026.
