Proposal to discontinue education at Knockbreck Primary School, Isle of Skye
We are seeking the views of local communities on a proposal to discontinue education at Knockbreck Primary School, Isle of Skye, and reassign the school catchment area to Dunvegan Primary School.
There will be a public meeting on Thursday 10 September 2026 at Dunvegan Community Hall at 7pm.
The consultation will run from 2 September 2026 to 30 October 2026.
Proposal to Relocate Plockton Primary School
We are seeking the views of local communities on a proposal to relocate Plockton Primary School.
The consultation period has been extended and will now remain open until Friday 30 October 2026.
Proposal to Relocate Thurso High School, Pennyland Primary School and Miller Academy Primary School
This consultation has now closed.
We expect to publish the consultation report in January 2027.
The report will then be submitted to the Education Committee in February 2027.
