North Highland College UHI offer a number of online courses and flexible study.

University of Highlands & Islands offer several online courses including:

British Safety Council offer a number of short online courses, some of which only take 30 minutes and cost as little as £14.25 (excluding VAT).  Courses range from display Screen Equipment, Manual Handling, Fire Safety, Data Protection, Driver Safety Awareness, Avoiding Slips and Trips, Working at Height, Safeguarding Children in Education. 

GBS Corporate Training offer several digitally delivered courses. The duration of the interactive sessions varies on the topic, but the maximum time is 3 hours. You can purchase virtual courses in bundles so that you can join multiple courses delivered on the same day, maximising the cost effectiveness of the training.  Course topics include business writing, communication skills, influencing and persuading others, presentation skills and many more. 

Webywhere offer several soft skills courses e.g. creative thinking, dealing with emotion and conflict, management change, advanced management skills, cross-functional management, commercial negotiation and project management. 

NEC offer a number of online courses via their online academy which enables you to gain a comprehensive and clear understanding of the NEC3 suite of contracts at anytime, anywhere and at your own pace. 

ILM offer eWorkbooks covering a range of leadership and management topics, e.g. managing risk, managing change, managing inclusively, managing collaboration, managing projects and managing business improvement. 

Creativedge offer several virtual classroom training courses.

IET (The Institution of Engineering and Technology) offer a number of one hour e-classes delivered in a webinar format.  These e-classes cover a range of subjects including Project Management, mentoring, effective negotiation and many more. 

MfQ (managing for quality) has a track record of over 30 years delivery of training consulting and auditing services to a wide variety of sectors including; nuclear, chemical, public sector, military and healthcare.  They offer a number of e:learning courses .

The University of Edinburgh offers a portfolio of short, standalone courses designed to enable individuals to upskill or working professionals to reskill through online or blended learning in digital data.  Funded places are available to those who meet the Scottish Funding Council (SFC) fee waiver criteria.  For further information on the courses available, eligibility, funding and how to apply see the section on the Data Skills Workforce Development website
