The Sound of Mull and Loch Etive projects
We have collaborated with Argyll and Bute Council to develop integrated coastal plans for two projects:
The Scottish Sustainable Marine Environment Initiative (SSMEI) Sound of Mull Project
This was prepared as 1 of the 4 local pilot studies of the Scottish Sustainable Marine Environment Initiative (SSMEI)
Loch Etive Integrated Coastal Zone Management Plan
This was an initiative led by Argyll and Bute Council, whose territory includes most of the loch. The upper end of the loch however falls within the Highland area. The plans provide information and policy guidance on a sector by sector and area by area basis to encourage sustainable use and development of these marine areas and their coastal margins.
