People Development launches
The People Development service focus on developing our people. We need to be ambitious for our staff, treat them as individuals and show them that being fulfilled, safe and healthy in the workplace are not the outcomes from success, they are the ingredients for success.
The renaming of Learning & Development to People Development is to highlight the required move from delivery of training by an organisation to the future role of facilitating development of our people, based on the needs of the organisation. To achieve the Council’s vision, and to meet the needs of busy staff we will provide a blended approach to learning, including e-learning, digital opportunities and in person delivery.
The People Development team consists of the Modern Apprenticeship Centre, SQA Qualifications and the Core team who design and deliver opportunities including mandatory training, induction and ERD best practice, personal, skills and management development.
