Planning and Building Standards team make the move to Inverness Town House

The Inverness and Nairn Planning and Building Standards team will be relocating to a new city centre location in the Inverness Town House.

 

The move will take place over a period of a week with Building Standards moving on the 20 -21st September and Planning following on the 26 -27 September alongside the move of the 29 staff members  who will be based there. During this time, the office at Kintail House at Beechwood Business Park will be closed to the public. Planning applications will be available for view as usual on the Council’s website – www.highland.gov.uk/wam

 

From 28 September 2017 onwards, appointments to view planning documents can be made by contacting the Town House reception on 01463 785100. All other queries should be directed to the Service Centre on direct dial 01349 886606 or through the Council’s website – www.highland.gov.uk

 

Provost of Inverness, Helen Carmichael welcomed the move. She said: “I am delighted that staff are moving back into the centre of the town. I am sure that they will enjoy working in the newly refurbished Town House.”
