Stromeferry works update - daytime opening of the A890

From 7am on Monday 19 November, all daytime traffic, including vehicles over 7.5 tonnes, will be able to use the A890.  The road will be open to all traffic from 7am until 10pm.

There may still be traffic controls on the road during daytime operations and short delays should be expected.

The road will remain closed to all traffic overnight from 10pm until 7am.  This is to allow the removal of the road to rail bypass and associated reinstatement works.

The road is expected to be fully reopened by 7am on Friday 23 November, although there will still be traffic control on the road while works are completed and short delays should be expected.

The Highland Council apologises for any inconvenience caused during this essential work to the rock face.
