BT National Gaelic debate success

Read this in Gaelic

Well done to Ardnamurchan High School S4 pupils Charlie Anne-Pleming and Rona Nicolson who travelled to Stornoway to take part in the BT National Gaelic debating competition recently.

They prepared thoroughly and debated successfully against Mallaig High School to defeat the motion that ‘Trip advisor is a good way to gain a good reputation for a Hotel or restaurant’.

This was the first time that Ardnamurchan High School achieved a victory at this prestigious competition.

This was a great experience for the school and the pupils learned a lot about competitive debating.

They enjoyed honing their skills and are looking forward to next year’s competition already.
