How to report a stray dog

Outside service centre hours
If you find a stray dog outside office hours:
- take it to the nearest police station
- report any animal welfare concerns to the Scottish SPCA
What happens to stray dogs
Our dog wardens:
- patrol local areas
- respond to reports of stray dogs
- take stray dogs to kennels
If your dog is taken to a kennel, you will need to pay a fee to get it back.
If the dog is not claimed, we will try to find it a new home.
