Report fly-tipping or illegal waste dumping

What is fly-tipping?

Fly-tipping is the illegal dumping of waste on land that does not have a licence to accept it. It can range from a single bag of rubbish to large quantities of household, commercial, or construction waste.

Penalties can range from a £200 fine to a £20,000 fine, or up to 6 months in prison.

If hazardous waste is dumped, the sentence can be up to 5 years in prison.
