How to enrol in a Gaelic class
We offer several classes, both online and in-person, across the region. Classes are delivered to suit different levels of learning as well as conversation classes.
Discounts are available for Highland Council staff, members and Gaelic Medium parents.
Tutors use SpeakGaelic to offer learners a variety of ways to learn Gaelic. This includes:
- face-to-face classes
- self-guided online learning through the SpeakGaelic website
- media content through a variety of platforms such as BBC ALBA and BBC Radio nan Gàidheal, supported by SpeakGaelic on social media.
The SpeakGaelic course is designed for learners of all levels, from complete beginners to those with more experience. The course is a nationally recognised structured pathway for learners.
