Hire a skip

Terms and conditions

You must follow these terms when hiring a skip from us.

Tell us what type of waste you are disposing of

We will ask you to confirm the type of waste when you book. This helps us charge the correct rate.

If the skip contains waste that does not match the description you gave, you may be charged extra. For example, if a skip hired at household rates contains construction waste, you will need to pay the difference.

You are responsible for the skip

While the skip is hired to you, you are responsible for:

  • keeping it secure
  • any waste deposited into it

Hazardous and liquid waste

You must not put hazardous or liquid waste in the skip. This includes:

  • asbestos
  • oil
  • car batteries
  • fluorescent bulbs
  • pesticides
  • chemicals

Contact us for advice on how to dispose of hazardous waste safely.
