Waste disposal at landfill and transfer stations
If you already have an account, you can dispose of waste at:
- Seater Landfill Site
- Lochinver, Brora, Melness and Portree Waste Transfer Stations
- Ullapool and Gairloch Waste Transfer Stations
Most common types of waste are accepted. Special arrangements and charges apply to difficult wastes.

If you do not have an account
You need an account before using these sites for waste disposal. This helps us manage access, safety and billing.
To set up an account, you will need to:
- provide your business or personal details
- register with SEPA as a professional collector and transporter of waste

- standard waste: £101.36 per tonne plus £102.10 Landfill Tax
- difficult waste: £202.72 per tonne plus £102.10 Landfill Tax
- dry mixed recycling (paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, food tins, drinks cans): £101.36 per tonne
