Multi-agency recovery group
A multi-agency local resilience partnership has been established to support the recovery, understand the economic impact of the wildfire and plan how best to support affected businesses and communities in the short and longer term.
As part of this group, and with Business Gateway Highland, the Council are working with:
- Highlands and Islands Enterprise
- The Scottish Government
- The Cairngorms National Park Authority
- Cairngorms Business Partnership
Survey
To support these efforts, the Cairngorms Business Partnership has issued a survey to businesses within the exclusion zone and is helping to coordinate the gathering of detailed feedback from those affected by closures. The survey will help partners understand:
- the scale of the impact on business
- what support might be needed in the short and longer-term
- longer-term recovery and business resilience considerations
