Drop-in sessions
Residents affected by the wildfire were invited to attend a series of drop-in sessions providing information, practical advice and support on a range of issues, including:
- Housing
- Welfare support and benefits
- Crisis grants
- Foodbanks
- Health and wellbeing
- Business support
- Fire safety advice and home fire safety visits
The drop-in sessions brought together staff from:
- The Highland Council
- NHS Highland
- Highlands and Islands Enterprise
- Inverness, Badenoch and Strathspey Citizens Advice Bureau
- Scottish Fire and Rescue Service
- Cairngorms National Park Authority.
Session dates
These sessions took place on:
- Tuesday 4 August, 10am to 12.30pm at MacDonald Aviemore Resort
- Tuesday 4 August, 2pm to 5pm at Nethy Bridge Hotel
- Wednesday 5 August, 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm at MacDonald Aviemore Resort
