Common Good asset registers provide a public record of land and property held by the Council on behalf of local communities.
In Highland, there are 13 Common Good areas, each with its own register. These registers list the assets associated with each area and help ensure transparency, accountability, and informed decision-making in how Common Good assets are managed.
All asset registers are publicly available and are maintained as live documents. This means they are subject to ongoing review and update, particularly as a result of title investigations, further legal clarification and if assets are sold.
Users of the registers should be aware that asset listings may change over time as new information becomes available or corrections are identified.

For ease of reference, the Asset Registers has been divided into the separate former Burghs.
