Fare increase from 1 May 2026

Fares will increase on Friday 1 May. New fare prices are listed on this page.

If you regularly make crossings using the Corran Ferry, it may be cheaper to purchase a book of tickets in advance. They include 30 tickets and are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.

Private vehicles and light goods vehicles

  • Book of 30 tickets, valid for 1 year, vehicle specific - £96. You can buy ticket books from the purser onboard the ferry.
    • car
    • small van
    • campervan up to 6 metres
    • minibus up to 16 seats
  • Lochaber pensioner concession: book of 20 tickets valid for 2 years - £64. This requires proof of residency and date of birth. You can buy ticket books by phone from the Corran Ferry office after 2pm, or from your local Service Point.

Vehicles over 3,500kg Gross Vehicle Weight

These tickets are valid for 1 year, and you must provide your business name or motorhome registration. You can buy ticket books from the purser onboard the ferry.

If paying by company invoice in advance, email CommunityServices.Lochaber@highland.gov.uk to arrange payment. After payment, ticket books can be collected from the purser onboard the ferry. Proof of invoice payment must be eamiled to CommunityServices.Lochaber@highland.gov.uk by 5pm the day before collection.

Number of tickets required

Depending on the size of your vehicle, you may have to provide more than one ticket for a crossing. The number of tickets needed for the different sizes is:

  • Lorry or van (under 7.5 tonnes), or motorhome 6 to 8 metres in length - 2 tickets
  • Tractor, excavator or drawbar trailer - 2 tickets
  • HGV 2 axle or large van (over 7.5 tonnes Gross Vehicle Weight), or motorhome greater than 8m in length - 3 tickets
  • HGV 3 axle - 4 tickets
  • HGV 4 axle - 5 tickets
  • HGV 5 or 6 axle - 7 tickets
  • Bus or coach (17 to 35 seats) - 3 tickets
  • Bus or coach (36 seats and over) - 5 tickets

Other vehicles or loads ferried by arrangement (fare on application: Contact Ferry Office).
