A by-election is being held for Ward 4 - East Sutherland and Edderton, following the resignation of Councillor Jim McGillivray.
On Thursday 14 May 2026, we will publish the Notice of Election and timetable for this election.
From this date, prospective candidates will have until 4pm on Thursday 21 May 2026 to submit their completed nomination forms.
