C1032 Barn Church Road and various roads 30mph and 40mph speed limit - Road safety team consultations

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Highland Council proposes to make an Order in terms of Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 entitled as above. 

If the Order comes into force, the Order will introduce a 30mph speed limit on the following roads in Culloden over their entire length, unless stated otherwise below:

C1032 Barn Church Road from its junction with the A96 (Aberdeen – Inverness Trunk Road) to a point 120 metres, or thereby, south-east of its junction with Smithton Road, a total distance of 965 metres or thereby.

If the Order comes into force, the Order will introduce a 40mph speed limit on the following roads in Culloden over their entire length, unless stated otherwise below:

C1032 Barn Church Road from point 120 metres, or thereby, south-east of its junction with Smithton Road to a point 73 metres, or thereby, north-east of its junction with Moray Park Avenue, a total distance of 1730 metres, or thereby; C1036 Tower Road from its junction with the C1032 Barn Church Road to a point 40 metres, or thereby, south of its junction with Murray Road, a total distance of 473 metres, or thereby; U5410 Birch Court; U5578 Beith Place; U5143 Smithton Industrial Estate.
