Green Networks - Development guidance

Description

Adopted Supplementary Guidance

Green Networks are a network of green spaces and corridors within and around settlements, linking out into the wider countryside.

They can help to enhance the area’s biodiversity, quality of life and sense of place. A green network also provides the setting in which high quality, sustainable development can occur. The Green Networks Supplementary Guidance  provides guidance on what a green network is and how an enhanced Highland green network can be delivered.

Equalities Impact Assessment

To accompany the guidance we produced an Equalities Impact Assessment. This document helps us to identify if the guidance will affect different groups of people in different ways. We have produced a Screening Report and have determined that a full Equalities Impact Assessment is not required.

Habitats Regulations Appraisal (HRA) of the Sutherland local plan

Strategic Environmental Assessment
