Houses in Multiple Occupation Supplementary Guidance
To aid in the monitoring of houses in multiple occupation concentrations in line with the guidance, every 6 months we will produce maps showing areas that are at or above 8 per cent concentration. These are intended as information for applicants and planning officers as well as members of the public. The maps show where the concentration of houses in multiple occupation is getting towards what the Planning Authority consider to be a high concentration.

As with all plans, policies and strategies we produce, this supplementary guidance has been subject to a Strategic Environmental Assessment to measure the level of environmental impact. The supplementary guidance is currently under review, and as suc,h a further screening of the guidance for environmental effects has been undertaken.
