PAS was commissioned by the Applecross Community Company (ACC) to produce this land use plan with a focus on identifying geographical areas which are suitable for future development. Such developments may include new homes, recreational areas, community and commercial buildings, and walking routes. The methodology of the Charretteplus® model was adapted to deliver this process, this being a series of community conversations and workshops where people are encouraged to come together to discuss and share ideas for the future of Applecross.
This plan has been developed by the ACC and Applecross Trust and is a community plan, to be shared and delivered by all members of the Applecross Community.
