Abernethy Primary School is situated on the outskirts of Nethybridge in a woodland setting.
The building is spacious and well equipped to meet the demands of today’s curriculum.
The children enjoy the use of an attractive play area of field and woodland.
A wildlife area and garden have been created.
The school has a large gymnasium and an excellent stage.
The school currently has four classes plus an Early Learning and Childcare setting.
There are currently 89 pupils enrolled in the primary school and 19 in the ELC.
Specialists in Physical Education, Music and Support for Learning visit the school.
The Nursery class is staffed by two Early Years Practitioners.
