Bun-sgoil Shlèite enjoys its status as a Gaelic Medium School with an English medium department.

As such, Gaelic enjoys a high profile in the daily life of the school, both with Gaelic learners and those learning through the medium of Gaelic.

There are presently 3 Gaelic classes and 1.

facilities), four classrooms, library, school office, work area and staff room.

The former school House is also used as a classroom.

Adjacent to the school is the Multi Use Games Area (MUGA); a school and community resource.

The demountable unit which houses the sgoil-àraich/nursery is at the edge of the school pitch and the children enjoy the benefit of our recently refurbished woodland area.

We are also fortunate to have a large school garden which we are developing at the moment.

The school actively promotes partnership and close working with the Parent Council and Forum, Sleat and the wider community
