Lochinver Primary School is situated in a rural area on the west coast of Sutherland.

It serves the village of Lochinver as well as the outlying areas of Achmelvich to the north, Inverkirkaig to the south and Elphin to the east.

The school is housed in the old village school which has been extended over the years.

It has 2 classrooms, a GP Room, a library, a small room used for individual tuition, an office, staffroom and canteen.

There are extensive playgrounds providing tarmac and grassy areas for pupils at breaktimes.

Our Early Learning Centre is within the grounds of the school in it's own building.
