Smithton Primary - Find a school

Smithton Primary School provides a caring family atmosphere where youngsters learn to work alongside each other in a safe and secure environment.

The school community promotes healthy minds, healthy attitudes and healthy lifestyles with children encouraged to be successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors.

An ethos of achievement and celebration of success is promoted.

We actively encourage partnership between home, school and the wider community and have a supportive Parent Council.

There are presently 14 classes in the school from P1 – P7 and an Early Learning and Child Care (nursery) for 3 and 4 year olds with morning and afternoon sessions.

Pupils who have additional needs are supported in class by teachers and/or Pupil Support Assistants.
