Cuil Bay, Duror - 40mph Speed Limit Order - Road safety team consultations

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Highland Council on 09 February 2026 made, in terms of Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the above order which will come into operation on 01 April 2026. 

The Order will introduce a 40mph speed limit on the following road in Duror over their entire length, unless stated otherwise below:

U1554 – From a point 500m, or thereby from its junction with the A828 (Connel – South Ballachulish Trunk Road) extending for 1300 metres or thereby in a south-westerly/north-westerly/north-easterly direction.
