The Workforce North Co-Investment Fund is a partnership between the public and private sectors to help grow the workforce across the Highlands.
This is an investment in our people, businesses and communities and works with employers to:
- address skills gaps
- recruit and retain talent
- create high-quality career opportunities

The fund is open to employers operating across Highland, including:
- micro businesses
- small and medium-sized enterprises
- supply chain businesses supporting major projects
- local authority arm's-length external organisations
- facilities management services

Funding can be used to:
- train existing employees
- recruit and develop new talent
- support unemployed people into work
This includes opportunities to:
- upskill existing employees
- reskill workers for new roles or sectors
- support people into employment
- address skills shortages in priority industries
