Forestry and Land Scotland has been supporting Forest Holidays in progressing its proposed development of 50 eco-cabins as part of the Nevis Forest and Mountain Resort Masterplan. Construction of groundworks, foundations and internal roads progressed well during 2025 before being temporarily paused.
Forest Holidays is currently working with utility providers to confirm timescales for the site's grid connection and explore opportunities to reduce delays. FLS continues to provide support where appropriate to help progress the project.
Other elements of the Masterplan, including the proposed hotel, additional low-impact accommodation and further recreational improvements, will be considered once the Forest Holidays development is complete and market conditions are favourable.
