Cow Hill Hall (CHH) has now been established as a registered charity (SC055158) with eight trustees and appointed office bearers. Following a successful Scottish Land Fund (SLF) Stage 1 application, consultants SKS were commissioned to update the 2023 Business Plan and complete additional community consultation.
The revised plan, completed in March 2026, is ready for publication pending a Red Book valuation from HIE. This is expected towards the end of June and will enable a Stage 2 SLF application to be submitted once new Scottish Government funding arrangements are announced. CHH has also begun discussions with HIE regarding the proposed community asset transfer, with key issues including responsibility for the shared access road, construction standards, and future maintenance.
