Flood protection works are complete and an official scheme opening took place on 31 August 2023.
In addition to the flood wall construction, placement of rock armour and drainage works, the scheme includes significant footpath improvements for all ability active travel, seating, geology interpretation, planting and a new shinty club parking area. Regular meetings with a Community Liaison Group to share information and progress updates were central to the project.
