A licence is required for the sale of certain categories of second hand goods including antiques, jewellery and electrical equipment.

You will need:
- to have read the guidance notes
- current licence for uploading (if this is a renewal)
- a credit or debit card
The application fee for a second hand dealers licence is £397.00 (for a 3 year licence)
The application fee for a temporary second hand dealers licence is £198.50 (A temporary licence is valid for a maximum of 6 weeks)
The application fee for an additional premises is £156.00. This applies only where you currenly hold a second hand dealers licence and are applying for another premises in addition to this.
