A licence is required for the sale of second hand vehicles and motorcycles.

You will need:
- to have read the guidance notes
- details of current license
- a credit or debit card
The application fee for a second hand vehicle dealers licence is £603.00 (for a 3 year licence)
The application fee for a temporary second hand vehicle dealers licence is £301.50 (A temporary licence is valid for a maximum of 6 weeks)
The application fee for an additional premises is £156.00. This applies only where you currenly hold a second hand vehicle dealers licence and are applying for another premises in addition to this.
