Bun-sgoil Shlèite part time 20mph extension - Road safety team consultations

Notice is hereby given that The Highland Council proposes to make an Order in terms of Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 entitled as above.

If the Order comes into force, it will introduce an extension to the existing part time 20mph speed limit at Bun-Sgoil Shlèite as below:

• A851 Broadford- Armadale Pier Road - Commencing at a point opposite the centreline on the entrance road leading to Exhibition Cottage, Sleat and extending (i) in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 322 metres or thereby and (ii) in a south-westerly direction for a distance of 50 metres or thereby, as the said lengths of road measuring 372 metres or thereby in total are shown coloured red on the plan annexed and signed as relative hereto.

All objections to the proposals must be made in writing and must specify the grounds of objection on or before 10th July 2023.
