This page is for young voters who want to take part in upcoming elections. You can find out how to register, vote, and get involved.
Why voting matters
Voting in an election is your chance to help decide who makes decisions about issues that affect your life every day.
How to vote
To vote, you must be on the Register of Electors.
If you are not registered, you cannot vote.

Once registered, you’ll receive a poll card shortly before polling day. This will tell you where and how to vote.
If you cannot vote in person, you may be able to vote by post or appoint a proxy (someone to vote on your behalf).
